I just recently found out about Bibio, a one man production by Stephen Wilkenson, a british multi-instrumentalist. I have listened to his most -popular album Ambivalence Avenue and loved it. With a variety of musical influences, Bibio's Ambivalence Avenue displays progressive music in many forms. Ranging from folk to hip-hop, Bibio most definitely has a keen sense of his musical surroundings. 'Fire Ant', a standout track on the album, takes influence from hip-hop producers J dilla and Madlib, two artists of whom now, after spending time with, I am gaining huge amounts of respect for.
