In the last year I have been inspired and intrigued by many artists coming out of the LA beat scene. I've grown to love hip-hop and electronic music, thus feeding my interest for the new age of booms and claps. Theres just something about those behind-the-beat hits and chopped up samples that get my head bobbing. My love for beats started with J Dilla and has transcended upon artists such as Baths, Flying Lotus, and Alex B. XLR8R, one of my most viewed blogs, recently dedicated an article to the rising of Beat music.
