Cookin' Soul trio paying tribute to the late great Teddy "Teddy Bear" Pendergrass. Teddy began his music career as a drummer for Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes at 18, and quickly became the lead singer. In the late 70's Teddy had a successful career has a Solo Soul/R&B singer. Teddy died on at the beginning of this year on January 13, 2010, he was only 59 years-old. All the tracks have that nice blend of Soul, R&B, and Hip-Hop, with great vocal samples from the "Teddy Bear," and verses from Jadakiss, Joell Ortiz, Novel, and many more.
